Unlike modular homes, which are delivered in multiple sections for on-site assembly, an RTM is built as a single, solid structure from the floor system upward. The finished home typically includes flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures. This option is especially common in rural areas of the Canadian Prairies, including Manitoba and Saskatchewan, where access to on-site trades can be limited. In many cases, it offers a faster and more cost-effective alternative to building the entire home on the customer’s site.
